Telehealth Sessions
Telehealth treatment sessions are conducted over a closed end encrypted video-chat system that meets HIPAA requirements. This method allows you to meet face-to-face with Dr. Futtersak from a convenient location of your own choosing...no need to travel to an office. Session Length and Frequency
Treatment sessions are typically 1-hour in length and scheduled on a weekly basis. Briefer sessions might be scheduled and bi-weekly or even occasional monthly check-ins might be appropriate and can be arranged as you make progress toward your anxiety management goals.
Who is Appropriate for Treatment?
Dr. Futtersak provides treatment services to adults 21 years and older. Residents of North Carolina and New York are eligible for treatment. (Note, residents of South Carolina may only be treated in-person at our office in Waxhaw due to state licensing limitations).
Fees/Insurance Coverage/ Payment Information
- The fee for a 1-hour intake appointment is $160.00
- The fee for a regular 1-hour individual treatment session is $140.00.
- The fee for a 30-minute individual treatment session is $85.00 (scheduled only after initial treatment has progressed)
Payments are expected at the time of service and can be made by check, credit card, or by Venmo or Zelle.
Dr. Futtersak is a participating provider in the following insurance plans:
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- Aetna
- United Health Care/Optum Health
For these covered insurance plans, co-pays may be due and are required at the time of service. Clients should also be aware of any limitations in coverage due to deductible or co-insurance.
For all other insurance plans, Dr. Futtersak would be considered "out of network". A receipt for services that you can provide to your insurance carrier for applicable reimbursement will be provided to you.
